"Today we’ll have some rain, with scattered showers across the area"
You’ve been there, the phone rings and its another customer asking when you’ll be able to return to finish their deck. You’re schedule may as well be written in chalk because each time it rains all of your careful planning is washed away. Now you’ve got nothing but clean decks, with the oldest vulnerable to new mold and mildew growth and your friend the weatherman is mumbling about unusual weather patterns.
Is it really that unusual? Didn’t you go through the same thing last year?
Take back control of your schedule!
When you depend on a finish that requires very low moisture content it inevitably leads to scheduling problems. The advanced technology behind the Wood-Tux Stain formulation makes it one of the most flexible, contractor friendly finishes you can choose.
Wood-Tux can be applied to wood even at very high moisture levels.
This means you can stain even if there is rain in the forecast for that day. As long as there is no standing water on the deck, Wood-Tux will deliver a beautiful, rich high quality finish. Once applied it will take a light to moderate rain in as little as 15 minutes.
See the difference for yourself
Place a board in a 5-gallon pail of water. Allow it to soak for a minute or two, remove it and shake off the excess water. Allow it to dry only until you cannot shake a drip of water off of the board. Stain the board by applying a generous coat of Wood-Tux Stain, allow it to dwell a moment on the surface (perhaps a bit longer than you would if it were completely dry) then back brush to remove the excess.
The Obvious Choice of Wood Restoration Professionals
The bottom line is simple. When you can stain more days out of a season you can book more work and maximize your profitability!
